Turning the Page currently partners with six public elementary schools in Washington, D.C. Each school has helped Turning the Page write a description of the school's unique atmosphere and activities.
Turning the Page selects its partner schools based on a variety of factors. Most importantly, all of our partner schools have a strong commitment to family involvement and student achievement.
Partner schools must also demonstrate the need for Turning the Page resources. For that reason, our partner schools are all public elementary schools (non-charter), and they all receive Title I funds. These schools are in neighborhoods and at schools that have the highest rates of poverty and records of low achievement. Learn more about the statistics of our partner schools and their neighborhoods.
Teachers, parents and administrators at our partner schools devote lots of time and energy to working with Turning the Page. If your school would like to apply to partner with Turning the Page in the future, please contact Jason King or call (202) 347-9841 ext. 10.
