Carpe Librum VII!

Turning the Page is thrilled to announce the opening of our 7th annual used book sale, Carpe Librum! The sale, located at 20th street and Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, in the Shops at 2000 Penn, will be open 7 days a week through Friday May 16th.

Sale Hours will be as follows:
Monday - Friday: 10am - 7pm
Saturday: 11am - 6pm
Sunday: 12pm - 5pm

Special thanks to The Shops at 2000 Penn for their generous donation of this year's sale site!

2006-2007 LTP Exhibit on Display in DC

The Literacy Through Photography exhibit, featuring the photographs and writings of 50 DCPS elementary school students, is currently on display at the ARCH Training Center, located at 1227 Good Hope Road, in Southeast. The ARCH is open Monday - Friday from 9am - 5pm. Please stop by to take a look at the wonderful exhibit!

This year TTP is excited to be partnering with six elementary schools, all of them prior TTP partners: MC Terrell, Gibbs, Garfield, River Terrace, MLK and Aiton.

WINTER SCHEDULE
M.C. Terrell
: (meets every other Tuesday) January 29, February 12, March 4* and 18

Gibbs:
(meets every other Wednesday) January 23, February 6 and 20, March 5*

Garfield:
(meets every other Thursday) January 31, February 28, March 13*, April 3

River Terrace:
(meets every other Tuesday) February 5 and 26, March 11*, April 1 and 15

MLK:
(meets every other Thursday) January 24, February 7 and 21*, March 6

Aiton:
(meets every other Wednesday) January 30, February 13 and 27*, March 12

Donate your Used Books Year-Round!

We will gladly accept donations of gently used books, CDs, DVDs, and VHS tapes throughout the year, in preperation for our Carpe Librum used book sale each spring. Please contact Katheen Rice to make arrangements.
